Join us for our 16th season in Spruce Grove! CLASSES OFFERED Let’s Dance Together (2.5/3 Yrs- Parented) A starter program for dancers. With one parent participating, dancers will practice singing, counting, their right and left side, tapping to the music, basic ballet technique along with creative movement. This program is recommended for brand new dancers. Once a dancer completes a session and is 3.5, the Little Ballerina program is recommended. Dancers take part in our year end recital. Little Ballerina (3/4 yrs) Offered for dancers who have completed the Let’s Dance Together program OR for new dancers who are 3/4 years old. Basic ballet technique and creative movement make this a fun, yet educational class. Taught with an emphasis on fun, our dancers will also learn a routine to perform at our year end production. Pre Stars 1 & 2 (4/5 yrs) Offered to dancers who have completed the Little Ballerina program or who want to try a combination class. Classes in Ballet and Jazz or Ballet, Tap and Jazz are offered. This program gives the dancer a wide range of exposure to different styles of dance. The dancers perform a routine in one discipline at our year end production. Junior Stars (6/9yrs) Classes in Jazz,Tap and Ballet may be offered. Dancers attend once a week and take part in our year end performance along with one local festival. Pre Intermediate Jazz/Ballet Stars(9/12yrs) For students who are new to dance or have 1 or 2 years of recreational experience. This class attends once a week and will attend 1 festival along with our year end performance. Adult Jazz ( all ages welcome) For the mom who wants a fun way to get into shape or for the previous dancer who wants to get back into class, this class offers a fun combination of stretch, toning and choreography. This class will attend one festival and perform at our year end show, however, attendance is purely by choice. Class instructed by our director, Miss April. Image Elite Dancers must have a minimum of 2 years dance experience and if new to our school, will meet with our school director for suitable placement. This is a program for the more dedicated dancer. Training twice a week, dancers will take part in 2-4 festivals as well as our year end performance. Classes may include ballet technique, lyrical choreography, contemporary technique, jazz technique, jazz choreography and tap. Designed for ages 6 and up, we offer a Junior, Intermediate and Senior program. Classes instructed by Miss April, Miss Alysha, Miss Shelby and Miss Jessica. |
